After this you can just launch ET and watch demos instantly, without loading specific mod first open.

1. Right click ET on desktop
2. Choose properties
3. Go to shortcut tab
4. Add in the end of "target" line: +set fs_game silent
5. Click confirm and ok
6. Launch ET

You can do this with any mod, just change silent to some other: +set fs_game etpro

How did you upgrade your wolfenstein to a Ominaisuudet? I want one of those...

Nice information though. Didn't know you could load a mod like that.

Nice.

Now a few more comand lines

Setting Afffinity to 1 core - add C:\Windows\System32\cmd.exe /C start "" /affinity 01 (or w/e core) before the usual target.

Or

More Hunkmegs since ET only supports 192 other wise - +set com_hunkMegs"256" straight after et.exe in target.

cmd lines are kinda fun Smile

I know some maps require more hunkmegs then others but those are tj maps...

Same here. Never got hunk allocate error with frag maps.

I could imagine if the map demands even one more meg than you got, it would kick you out.

Higher hunkmegs didn't help with my fps on fueldump.

So I think it doesn't matter.. Only if you cannot load the map.. But I'm just guessing..

If I set hunkmegs via cfg higher than 192, it doesn't effect? Gotta add this.

But how does first thing effect to game?

Changing in cfg dont effect, if you test it with /com hunkmegs you will see it says value you have in cfg and latched value next to it, same for soundmegs and zonemegs. Its the amount of ram allocated to et to use for map textures, load times and whatever.

Remember when Et came out people had low ram in their pc's.
